Terms and Conditions

Welcome to Reliable Workspace. By accessing or using our website, booking our services, or interacting with any of our online tools, you agree to the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully.

1. Services Provided

Reliable Workspace offers professional moving, relocation, storage, delivery, labor services (union and non-union), equipment rental, and logistics solutions for residential and commercial clients across Connecticut, New York, and surrounding areas.

2. Estimates & Quotes

All estimates provided—whether via online form, phone, or in person—are based on the information you provide and are subject to change if the scope of work or conditions vary. Final pricing will be confirmed before service begins.

3. Booking & Cancellations

  • A deposit may be required to secure your booking.
  • Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled appointment to avoid a cancellation fee.
  • Late cancellations or no-shows may incur up to 50% of the estimated service charge.
     

4. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

  • Ensuring safe access to all areas being moved from or to.
  • Securing valuables, fragile, or high-value items separately unless otherwise arranged.
  • Properly labeling packed boxes and informing our team of any special handling needs.
     

5. Liability & Limitations

  • Reliable Workspace is not liable for items packed by the client unless there is clear evidence of handling negligence 
  • We are not responsible for delays caused by traffic, weather, third-party issues, or access restrictions.
  • For damage claims, you must notify us within 48 hours of service completion.
     

6. Storage Terms (if applicable)

  • Storage fees are charged monthly unless otherwise agreed upon.
  • Clients must provide written notice to terminate storage.
  • Items not retrieved within 30 days after storage ends may be subject to disposal or additional charges.
     

7. Equipment Rentals

  • All rented crates, dollies, or protective equipment must be returned in good condition by the agreed deadline.
  • Lost or damaged items will be billed at replacement value.
     

8. Website Usage

By using our website:

  • You agree not to misuse the site or upload harmful material.
  • All content is the property of Reliable Workspace and may not be copied without permission.
  • Information submitted through forms must be accurate and truthful.
     

9. Privacy

We respect your privacy. Information you provide is used solely for booking, billing, and service-related communication. Please see our [Privacy Policy] for full details.

10. Changes to Terms

Reliable Workspace reserves the right to update these terms at any time. Continued use of our website or services after updates implies agreement to the revised terms.

Return and Refund Policy

Effective Date: 05/01/2025

At Reliable Workspace, we are committed to providing high-quality service and customer satisfaction. This Return and Refund Policy outlines the terms under which refunds may be issued.

1. Service Deposits

  • A deposit may be required to confirm your booking.
     
  • Deposits are non-refundable if cancellation occurs less than 48 hours before the scheduled service.
     
  • For cancellations made more than 48 hours in advance, a full refund of the deposit will be issued upon request.
     

2. Moving & Labor Services

  • Refunds will not be issued for services already completed.
     
  • If you are dissatisfied with your service, please contact us within 48 hours of the job's completion so we can address the issue promptly.
     
  • Partial refunds or service credits may be offered at our discretion in cases of documented service failure.
     

3. Storage Services

  • Refunds are not issued for partial months of unused storage.
     
  • Clients must give at least 7 days’ notice before terminating storage to avoid being charged for the next billing cycle.
     

4. Equipment Rentals (e.g., Crates, Dollies, Supplies)

  • Rented equipment must be returned in clean and undamaged condition by the agreed-upon return date.
     
  • Refunds will not be issued for early returns unless otherwise stated in writing.
     
  • Damaged, lost, or unreturned items will be billed at replacement value and are non-refundable.
     

5. Packing Supplies

  • Unused, unopened packing supplies purchased from Reliable Workspace may be returned within 7 days for a full refund, with proof of purchase.
     
  • Opened or used supplies are not eligible for return or refund.
     

6. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund or resolve a service issue, please contact us by email or phone within the applicable time window:

Please include your name, service date, and reason for the request. We will respond within 3 business days.
